Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a boutique Brazillian Jiu Jitsu academy located inside of Bell Works, a new "metroburb" in New Jersey. The Club will be called the " Lucky Cat Grappling Club", inspired by the Maneki Neko (lucky cat) . We are aiming for a simple, minimalist design featuring the initials "LC", and initially we are thinking we would like the L to look like the cats extended waving paw, and the C perhaps to be an abstract cats head turned to the side. We like black and gold as a color palate.
