Brief de Design Graphique

We're seeking a design that brings our vision to life to represent Team Manitoba in a set of pins. Team Manitoba will be going to the Canada Summer Games in St. Johns Newfoundland in 2025. At the Canada Games, each province/territory will bring their unique set of pins, and pin trading will become popular at the Games between Games participants.

Team Manitoba is represented by the majestic bison, a symbol deeply rooted in our province's history. The bison conveys qualities such as resourcefulness, dedication, intelligence, playfulness, pride, speed, and strength. In indigenous culture, the bison represents Respect for its willingness to give every part of its being to sustain the lives of others not because he values himself less, but because he respects the balance and needs of others.

In this design, we would like to incorporate themes of Manitoba and Newfoundland. Some themes are as follows:

Manitoba themes: Prairie landscapes, bison, wheat, indigenous history very prominent in Manitoba (roots to represent this?). Other animals Manitoba is known for are beluga whales, polar bears, and grey owls. Our provincial flower is a prairie crocus. Manitoba’s colours are gold/yellow, black, grey, and white.

Newfoundland themes: Jelly bean row, icebergs, puffins, moose.

Not all themes need to be reflected in the design, but some incorporation would be good.
