We are getting a few designs in and we are noticing several things. One is the use of a sewing needle. This needle does not have to be in the design if it doesn't fit the image. We don't need the needle stabbing through the head of a lizard. If it doesn't serve a purpose, don't add it. We discussed examples like the Charlotte Hornets basketball team logo and the Mighty Ducks hockey logo. This is the feel we are going for. A high school mascot logo. While we have simplified this challenge, it MUST look professional. We are asking for 3 colors. It must have a lizard. The lizard can be a 2D image. It doesn't have to be full of detail, BUT it has to meet the requirements. The name Stitch Lizard has to be in the design and it needs to look organic. It can't be added as an afterthought. It must be incorporated into the design. I hope this clears up any confusion there might be.

I'm seeing several designs that were taken from other artist. I will have to score your logo with the lowest star if I see this. Copyright infringement will not be tolerated. We are looking for a sports team logo, like you'd find in the NBA, NHL, NFL. If "The Lizards" were a basketball team, what would the logo look like? The professional logo should have 3 colors. The sewing needle isn't a must have if it doesn't fit in the design. We don't want it just hanging off the tail or stabbing the lizard. The words Stitch Lizard should be incorporated into the logo. It can be a college font or block font. It can also be a different font as long as it flows with the design.
