Brief de Design de Logo
Looking for a simple yet creative design ( who isn't? lol) for a not-for profit type organization representing the interests of workers, small businesses, and their families. Ideally the image will incorporate something that either hints or directly shows something universally recognized as "blue collar" -- some examples may be a gear, engine, construction crane, an iron I beam, tools, etc. Imagery should not be SO direct and specific that it looks as if it pertains to one industry only (e.g. a dump truck makes it look like it is a cement company). Buy something that hints at a work glove, hard hat, tool belt, etc can apply to many types of jobs. One specific idea I can suggest is a silhouette image of a crane, it is holding a meetal I-beam suspended by a chain, and "blue collar coalition" is written across the I-beam... just an idea, feel free to ignore. Colors should be primary dark blue or red, complimentary colors for blue could be gold, green, white and black, for red the same except green, perhaps silver too.

Hello -- To add a little more context, this text logo is 75-80% conservative/formal looking for 25% design "flair" if that makes sense. Clear, readable, but grabs the eye with one standout element. The idea of putting "Blue Collar Coalition" on a construction beam may be a good starting point, and it could be held by a chain, or... anything goes. Another idea is using the imagery of the old kind of metal lunch pail, the text could start on one side and continue on the other so there is additional dimensional perspective... just putting out some ideas to help define the project a little better and perhaps spur some creativity, thank you!
