Brief de Design de Logo

We need a new logo design for our organization called Five Points Community Collaborative. This is a collaborative group made up of 3 neighborhoods in the 5 Points area of Charlotte North Carolina. A little about the organization, our Vision: Setting the standard for community Collaboration; our Mission: Promoting positive change, protecting diversity, and acting as a collective voice of the community to retain our unique identity. We want to ensure we are protecting the diversity and respecting the history of these neighborhoods as being historically black, and if that can be a subtle part of the new logo it would be great. The 5 Points area we are in, the name was from the main intersection where 5 roads intersect, and our old logo played off of that, but a little too much. the connection or imagery to 5 points could be more subtle as you will see in our old logo, and the colors from the old logo are all primary colors and too bright to use as a palette for graphics and signage. I think we are looking for a more current color palette but not tied to any specific color. The final design we want to communicate community collaboration, working together, and maybe a way to have a subtle connection to the 5 Points of the intersection. There are other organizations we currently work with like the Five Points Plaza that i have also included their current logo, they also played off the intersection, and we feel this was played up too much in their logo also, but we do like the color tones of their color palette.
