Brief de Design de Logo

Need a fusion of a parent company logo and a new logo fora publishing branch. something with an old book and quill or something like that. Would like a subtle clock image on the book somewhere if possible. The existing logo is uploaded and we would like the basic design incorporated into the new logo. The key is to get the width of the logo to about the size of the main art of the existing logo.
