Brief de Design de Logo

We are delighted to present our design proposal for the logo of WISER, a well-established association in the DC metro region. Our goal is to create a logo that embodies the warm, friendly, and supportive culture of WISER, while also projecting professionalism and inclusivity. By incorporating the organization's mission and values into the design, we aim to visually communicate the essence of WISER as a professional support network with a personal touch.

Our mission statement is: Connecting a network of leading professionals in the DC metro region who support accessibility, social and emotional well-being, and individualized learning.

WISER acronym means Washington Independent Services for Educational Resources. We want to be known by our acronym of WISER.

Our design concept for the WISER logo revolves around the themes of warmth, professionalism, inclusivity, and growth. Through thoughtful consideration of these elements, we want to develop a logo that visually represents the unique qualities and values of WISER.

Iconography:
To symbolize the connection and support provided by WISER to professionals in the DC metro region we are looking for an innovative icon that represents our organization description above. We are open to designs and have selected a few samples below.

Tree of Knowledge: A tree with roots symbolizing the strong foundation of expertise and branches representing growth, reflecting the organization's mission of connecting leading professionals.

Heart and Handshake: An icon combining a heart and a handshake, representing the warm and friendly nature of WISER's community and the support members provide to one another.

Infinity Symbol: An infinity symbol intertwined with a person, signifying the continuous learning and growth within the organization while emphasizing the personal touch and sense of community.

Beacon of Light: A lighthouse or a torch symbolizing guidance and support for individuals with learning and accessibility needs, emphasizing WISER's commitment to promoting accessibility and social well-being.

Bridge: An icon of a bridge connecting two sides, representing WISER's role in bridging the gap between professionals and individuals with learning and accessibility needs, fostering understanding and collaboration.

Compass: A compass symbolizing the guidance and direction that WISER provides to professionals, enabling them to navigate the complexities of serving students and individuals with diverse needs.

Community Circle: A circle formed by diverse figures holding hands, illustrating the inclusive and supportive nature of the WISER community, emphasizing the organization's value of cultivating a strong network.

Bookshelf: An icon depicting a bookshelf filled with books and resources, symbolizing the wealth of knowledge and expertise within WISER, as well as the organization's dedication to individualized learning.

Lightbulb: A lightbulb symbolizing innovation and creativity, representing WISER's commitment to finding unique solutions and promoting accessibility for individuals with learning and accessibility needs.

Pedestal: A pedestal is both a foundation of support and a position of esteem. It could symbolize WISER’s supportive, professional community while also nodding to its commitment to accessibility and excellence.

Typography:
For the typography, we hope to see a friendly and modern font that combines readability with a touch of professionalism. This choice reflects WISER's culture of being warm and supportive, yet also emphasizes the organization's commitment to professionalism and excellence.

Color Palette:
The color palette we have chosen for the WISER logo incorporates blues and greens, creating a harmonious blend of colors. Blue represents trust, reliability, and professionalism, while green signifies growth, renewal, and inclusivity. The combination of these colors evokes a warm and friendly tone while maintaining a professional appearance. We are also open to a single use of color shades in the blue or green family.
