Brief de Design de Logo

About 15 years ago, a then friend of mine designed a logo for me to go with my nickname (Pred). Unfortunately I don't have the source files anymore and also find this logo hard to use in several cases (like embossing in 3D prints).

I am looking for something to replace it, which is a bit more modern, simpler and hopefully somewhat resembles the old one, but if there are totally new ideas, I am open to them.

The nickname Pred is a shortened version of Predator, a nickname from the old days when I had time to play and was able to hunt down my friends in various titles. Also I find big cats beautiful and a good match to the nickname, so said friend came up with the old "logo" (attached).

It will be mostly used as profile picture/embossing, thus text on the logo is not really needed, but having a version with the text is welcome.
