Thank you for submitting a design. I am not sure what the icon is suppose to portray. This is a bit too far removed from our current logo. We simply want our current logo to be a bit more modern. Our CEO says our current logo is a bit flat. This also feels a bit too playful. Our target audience is small business owners who typically bring $250k + in deposits and they tend to get larger commercial real estate loans.

So you want to keep your current icon and fonts to be modernize?

I added some logo progression examples to the brief to give you an idea of the concept of updating it.
