We are seeking a talented designer to create a captivating mascot character for Avelo Airlines. The mascot will serve as a lively and lovable representative of the airline, engaging with passengers and creating memorable experiences at events.

About Avelo Airlines:
Avelo Airlines is a low-cost airline known for its vibrant and customer-centric approach. With its eye-catching color palette of purple, yellow, and teal, Avelo aims to provide affordable travel options while maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere. The mascot will play a significant role in embodying the airline's values, fostering a sense of excitement, and leaving a lasting impression on passengers and event attendees.

Mascot Character Description:
We are looking for a clever and unexpected character that reflects Avelo Airlines' brand and resonates with passengers of all ages. The mascot should possess a vibrant personality, exuding energy and enthusiasm while showcasing a playful and approachable nature. It should inspire joy, evoke a sense of adventure, and capture the spirit of travel.

Costume Design Specifications:
The mascot costume will be comfortable, durable, and visually appealing. It should align with the selected character design and incorporate Avelo Airlines' distinct purple, yellow, and teal color scheme.

Deliverables:
1. Mascot Character Design: A visually engaging and original character design that embodies the spirit of Avelo Airlines. The design should be versatile and adaptable to various promotional materials, merchandise, and digital platforms.
a. Inspiration: Philly Fanatic, Raymond (tampa bay Rays), Wally the Green Monster, Burnie (Miami heat), McDonald’s Grimace
i. Seeking a lovable ‘monster’ or similar, androgenous, new character that is not a specific animal or person, nearly a Dr. Seuss character
b. Not a known animal or person
c. Avoid too many airline/airplane cliches. Probably not an airplane or a pilot, although could have fun with airline related equipment or terms such as an airplane tug

2. Mascot Costume Creation: A professionally crafted mascot costume will be created that accurately represents the character design. The costume should meet industry standards, ensuring comfort and usability for performers during events, appearances, and photo opportunities.

Timeline:
The project timeline will be determined in collaboration with the selected designer, taking into account the complexity of the design and costume creation.
