Brief de Design de T-shirt
I spent the last 12 years training almost every day to qualify for the half Ironman world championships. After thousands of hours swimming, biking and running I was able to qualify for the championship race in Lahti, Finland as a 51 year old. A few of my friends are racing with me and my brother and good friend will be cheering me on. I would like to create a tattoo style logo that I can put on the back of a t-shirt to give to my fellow racers and support team. The theme of the race is "SISU" which is a Finish term that can be roughly translated into English as strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity. Sisu is not momentary courage, but the ability to sustain that courage. It is a word that cannot be fully translated. I think integrating the word "SISU" into the design would be great.
I also wanted to pay some tribute to Finland's recent acceptance into NATO. I am not an artist by any means, but attached are some ideas that could be incorporated into the design along with the NATO and Finish flag. During our trip we are going to be spending some time in the deep woods looking at bears in their natural habitat, hence the bear and bear paw images.
You can search the web for really amazing ironman tattoo designs. The idea is the logo you design will look like a unique ironman tattoo with the design images that capture the spirit of the race and our trip to Finland.
