Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for a high end custom residential building contractor in Orange County. We provide the highest level of finishes with attention to detail. We use only Instagram for advertising and a circular design is optimal.
The logo needs to be legible when printed on a shirt front or baseball hat. I'm imagining a colored ring as the outside border with Newport Coast Elite at the top following the circle and Contractors at the bottom following the circle. For the space inside, I am open to anything from artwork of a luxury home, a chess piece, an architectural detail, or surprise me.
I think that two colors that would look good on the side of white pickup trucks, black and grey t-shirts, as well as letterhead.
We want the logo to create the image of being well established, but not a giant corporation. We want it to appeal and catch the eye of not only home owners, but also other professionals like architects and designers.
