Brief de Design de Logo

[Picture your last trip to the doctor's office. We work with the companies that make the equipment your doctor uses.]
We would like a logo to represent our medical device consulting firm. We are innovative, strategic, and position ourselves as the Gateway to companies receiving their regulatory approvals (e.g. from the United States FDA) and launching their products. We do not actually make any products; we work with companies to get their products developed, approved and ready to sell.

Ideally we would love for someone who looks at the logo to feel like they are entering another dimension/area/place. We would like the logo to create the feeling that we will take them from one place to another or help get them across the finish line (i.e. unapproved to approved).

We are looking for a logo that works well for anything from business cards to some unexciting apparel (yep - we have to make some jackets).
