Brief de Design de Logo

Our brief is to: design a new logo for Mudgee Fresh using the lineage of it's historical Mudgee Lamb company logo

Background: Mudgee is a regional town in NSW, Australia. It is renowned for its local produce including wine, farming (livestock, honey, cheeses) and culture. It is consistently in the top 5 tourism destinations in Australia.

Mudgee Lamb and Mudgee Fresh: Mudgee Lamb is a family company that's been established for 10yrs. It started as a family farm business slaughtering and selling grain fed lambs direct to consumer. Sales are made online and we pack and send our customer orders out weekly.

Mudgee Lamb has now expanded to include beef, pork and chicken items so the name is too limiting. We have registered Mudgee Fresh and want a logo which will reflect the history of Mudgee Lamb but be broad enough to allow us to add new produce based verticals in the future.

Existing logo uses Mercury font and reflex blue. We'd like to see options with and without those elements.

Thought starters: Instead of white reversed out of reflex blue do we now use reflex blue on white for continuity?
