Brief de Design de Logo

Hello! Thanks for checking out our project.

We need a simple logo for our Airbnb in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

The final logo should fit within a square. It could be a circle, square, hexagon, or odd shape, but we don't want the logo to be too vertical or too horizontal in nature.

I like the feel of retro logos, similar to what you might see for hipster restaurants in Brooklyn or craft breweries.

We intend to use the logo on a custom piece of wall art, note pads, and website.

Here are some Provincetown icons and images:

1. The Pilgrim Monument, a tall tower that offers panoramic views of the town and surrounding landscape.
2. Native wildlife - whales, lobsters, scallops, oysters
3. The town's nautical heritage, which could be represented by images such as a lighthouse, an anchor, or a compass rose.

The name of our property is Siren's Hideaway

I should mention that a Siren "in Greek mythology, a creature half bird and half woman who lured sailors to destruction by the sweetness of her song." Don't read too much into using iconography of a Siren, but you're welcome to go down that road if you think it makes sense.

The icons that we think would make the most sense for the logo would be things like the Pilgrim's Monument (see photos / use Google), images of lobsters, whale tails, oyster shells, and nautical images.

Included are some photos of Provincetown.

The target audience will be 25-54 year old Provincetown visitors. We receive a good mix of men and women. About 75% of our visitors are LGBTQ+. The logo should not feel too aggressively male or female, and please do not use rainbow flags or rainbow imagery because our intention is to use this logo and black + white / one-color versioned.
