Brief de Design de Logo

Need a logo design for our company sub-division

The new logo should not be brand related to the parent company, so no need to make it similar.

This new company is specialized in rock breaking. We use a proprietary system to quickly eliminate and break rock inside houses (basements) .
The company is called : Laroche et Percé.
This is a play on words and means : the rock is broken in English.
We serve a niche market acting as both a time saver for excavating companies that have hard rock to eliminate quickly and full excavation company where others would not dare enter. Our proprietary system quickly eliminates cap rock, saving time and wear and tear on excavating machinery.

We are open to suggestions for color, fonts etc..
Would love to have an image logo and not just a type logo
Our main process of eliminating rock is : Drilling- exploding - removing
