Brief de Design Illustration

I need a creative art design to reflect a futurist story.

The story is about a little duckling that travels 20 years into the future and see changes in social connections, community engagements, acceptance and welcoming of diverse cultures in developed countries.
The art piece should centre a duckling with contrast of now versus future. The current situation: poor socioeconomic status, low acceptance, discrimination versus future of connectedness and inclusion, better socioeconomic status as result yet the future still presents certain challenges such as conflicts and displaced people. The piece should have the little duckling wearing a red T-shirt in the future version (Red color details: R 228 G 35 B 19).

I have attached what I envisioned the illustration to look like but if you have bolder ideas, I am really welcoming it. I would like the illustration to show contrast, to be bold and impactful
