Brief de Design de Logo

I am seeking a logo design for a Web and Print based Wine Industry Journalism outlet. In the initial phase our website will act principally as a blog.

Our content will be east coast specific and geared towards wine industry insider investigation and reporting.

Culture, Technology, Trends.

I would like to maintain a heavy emphasis on Culture as it relates to the people and places responsible for creating wines, so i feel a good logo design would incorporate tools or elements of wine or grape production as part of the design.

Consider something one could see as a tool left idle mid process or stowed ready for use. I would like to err away from cliche' wine iconography such as wine glasses or grapes or a bottle but that might be appropriate depending on the design.

Of course i would like the overall design to be elegant and simple without being too pretentious and minimal on colors.

The logo should include the name of the company and depending on the design possible our tagline "Wine Production, Technology, Culture."

The principal use of this logo will be for a website/print header and for business cards.

Included is an image i made with some winery/vineyard adjacent tools. nothing to take too seriously as i find it to be a bit busy and overstimulated, but consider the images as the direction i would like to see for additional design elements in lieu of generic wine imagery.
