Brief de Design de Logo

We need our logo updated to be more modern, but at least somewhat recognizable. We have been stuck trying to make a new one that feels a bit more modern but still keeps recognition of the old one. The original is simply color blocks of the wordless book. We are open to other features that express other parts of camp like, water, Bible, children, hand prints wilderness, whatever. However, we keep coming back to wanting something very clean and simple with the colors of the Wordless Book (Black, Red, White, Green, Gold) and text. The winning design will be versatile from letter-head to clothing like sweatshirts and even a clay stamp on our own hand-made mugs. If it looks very similar to what we have we've probably already tried it. Goal = recognizable, but significantly different.
