Brief de Design de Logo

The Maine Wire is a news and current events blog focused on the state of Maine. We are seeking a designer to create an entirely new logo for the site as we revamp and grow. We will be using the logo for the website, socials, and merchandise. The successful designer may receive follow on work for other aspects of the project.

We are looking for designs that include "Maine Wire" and the shorthand "MW". You can look at the current site/logo at TheMaineWire.com. Color schemes should be blue and gold.

The brand will be brash, bold, sleek, conservative politically, and focused on muckraking / investigative reporting. We want a logo that can be used on social media, but also can stand as the masthead above political reporting.
