Brief de Design de Logo

Hi,

My name is Mike and over the past few years I have been working on a career in fixing up properties to rent. I've later become a General Contractor and started taking on jobs for first friends and family and later for clients. I'm now trying to "legitimate" this business and a professional and modern logo is needed.

Company Name: Cloud 9 Build

Branding: A premiere general contracting company. I'm not a handyman business. The business model is working with homeowners with very nice homes and needed a real company to take care of everything for them, from remodels to new constructions. Modern, professional, and best of industry would be the theme.

Inspirations and ideas:
- We deal with a lot of wood, the cedar color is quite popular these days, black would contrast cedar fairly well
- I don't want logo designs that look like a house. It's too cliché and overdone.
- It's called Cloud 9 Build based on the saying "living on Cloud 9", which means living in a perfect state of happiness.
- Might make sense to incorporate some common construction tools like a hammer
