Brief de Design de Logo

Looking for a logo ideas for a newly established clothing brand aimed at car enthusiasts and the automotive industry. Currently running with the name 'Octane Apparel Co.'
Ideally looking for two logos - one which will be the stylised name of the brand (ie 'Octane Apparel Co.'). I'm envisioning this to be the work 'Octane' to be bigger with the words 'Apparel Co.' fitting underneath it in smaller font, potentially in writing using straight lines or other sharp edges.
and a second one which will serve as the brand logo (much like Nike has their tick/check mark). I've brainstormed some ideas and landed on the possibility of incorporating the chemical formula for octane somehow (e.g using 7 lines to represent the simplified chemical diagram of octane).

The above are rough guidelines and we're very open to any other ideas to be submitted. In fact, we're so open to design ideas that we'd even accept suggestions for other names for the brand.
The overall 'vibe' of the brand will be light hearted and humorous. Our future designs will lean heavily into using phrases etc. on clothing. This means that the logo should ideally reflect this light hearted side of the brand.
