Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking to have a really cool looking logo designed for my Soccer team called the St. Louis Lazer Snakes. The uploaded picture is just for inspiration. I am definitely looking for a variation that is hopefully completely different.

Requirements:
Colors I am looking for are any use of Red, Navy Blue, and White.
I would like to have a Lazer beam either shoot out of the snake’s mouth or eyes. No real preference on either.
I would like to incorporate a soccer ball in it somehow.
Ideally the logo would include the team name “St. Louis Lazer Snakes” but does not have to if it ruins the overall look of the logo.

Other than that please feel free to be as creative as you want.

Potential Ideas but do not need to do anything like this if you have more creative ideas:
1. I thought it might look cool if maybe the Lazer beam ripped a soccer ball to shreds.
2. Another possible way I thought to incorporate the soccer ball would be like the second uploaded picture where his mouth is a soccer ball with snake fangs coming out.
