Brief de Design de Logo

We are looking for a logo incorporating the attached symbols for our logo. We are interested in seeing both modern and more calligraphic interpretations of the symbol.

The NGMA Group is a parent company of multiple restaurants and owns a few different commercial properties. We have four Asian-American fusion restaurants and one Whiskey Bar & Coffee Shop. The CEO is of Chinese descent, which is why we are using the symbol, but we would also like the company to be able to grow into other cuisine styles and industries with this logo, so we still want it somewhat generic otherwise.

UPDATE: The owner clarified that he wanted both the two logos incorporated. He also does NOT want it to be very obvious that they are Chinese symbols or too Chinese in theme. He wants the symbols incorporated artistically and professionally into the design. We would like something more abstract, rather than just obviously the symbols.
For context, the symbols are him and his wife's last names in Chinese, so wants both incorporated without being too obvious.

Update to add one font style we liked.
