Brief de Design de Logo

I have attempted to create my own logo and used several friends who are graphic designers. I end up with a decent logo but it's not very polished or professional. I run a private practice therapy program working with teens, couples, families, and young adults. I'm unique because i offer therapy outside the office with horses and other animals. I do also offer traditional office therapy as well. I own the rights to the script in my existing logo by but want something more polished. Would like to include a horse but don't want it to over power the logo so clients who only do office sessions are not alienated. Thinking perhaps have a brain and half a horse head outline?
