Brief de Design de Poster

Event poster for the 35th annual sailboat race from Galveston to Port Aransas. [will upgrade to guaranteed once a couple of serious designs are submitted] Hosted by Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook TX, organized by Bay Access Sailing Foundation, a charity supporting youth sailing and amateur sailboat racing. The poster art (or elements of it) will also be used for T shirts. This year's theme is "Havana Nights" in honor of 35 years of sponsorship by Bacardi Rum. Past posters normally include a full moon (usually orange) and a sailboat or numerous sailing yachts 30 foot and up. This year we would like to add the Cuban party theme. About 1/4 of the poster space (usually at the bottom) will focus on event sponsors. Lakewood Yacht Club or its burgee should be included but it is a minor element.

• 30' or larger sailboat(s), full moon (often orange but not absolute requirement), Harvest Moon Regatta® with the registered trade mark symbol, date (Oct 6-8, 2022), reference to Lakewood Yacht Club either in text or by including the burgee with LYC and a seahorse... see uploaded options, [much of the must haves could be addressed by including the registered trademark logo with 2022 included, maybe as one element of an art nouveau style poster... see Love the feel uploaded example]
