Brief de Design de Logo

Our firm is changing its name from Johnen Law Offices to Johnen & Holevoet based on a new lawyer joining the firm. We're looking for a new logo to go with the new firm name. We're also expanding our practice areas from just criminal and traffic defense to include labor-based immigration. We’re based in Madison, Wisconsin, but we take criminal and traffic cases throughout the state. The new immigration area will be looking for clients from throughout the United States.
Our target markets are people accused of criminal or traffic offenses. Most of our criminal cases are impaired driving offenses. As for our immigration work, we’ll be working with a variety of businesses that are looking to hire professional employees from Mexico. We’ll also be working with Mexican professionals that are looking for job opportunities in the United States.
We've attached images of the logo designs we've had for our previously separate law firms. We’re looking for the logo to include the new firm name and some sort of graphic element. Our past logos had graphic elements that were abstract representations of letters associated with the firm name, but we’re open to different approaches. Modern and abstract designs are more appealing than logos that contain cartoonish representations of the law, lawyers or the justice system.
We’re open to a wide range of colors and formats. Ideally the colors would be more classical colors, avoiding neon or pastels. We want the graphic element to project experience and strength. We also have a very fun-loving work environment and we offer great personalized service for our clients.
We recognize that the brief does not have many must, should or shouldn’t “haves” listed. That’s because we’re pretty open to whatever the designers come up with. We hope the designers will look at how flexible this brief is as an opportunity to be guided by their own creativity.
