Brief de Design de Couverture de Livre

Looking for cover for teen fantasy adventure. This is a dark and mysterious fantasy series. Two books are already published but the covers needs re-imagining. The series follows teen WWII evacuees as they discover new worlds behind a corridor of mysterious doors. The winning designer will be asked to design two further books in the series and the design will need to be cohesive across the series, following current trends and age appropriate (i.e. not too young and cartoony but not as mature as YA) and clearly convey the genre. Designer can choose to create characters (main four characters are two girls (a plain brunette and a lovely blond) and two boys (bookish with light brown hair and a very handsome black boy). The brown haired girl and the bookish boy are the central characters. Or, designer can be more conceptual with silhouettes or other directions but the age must be clear (they are 13). They are also in 1940 so clothes should be relevant). The typography should feel integrated and not tacked on. Examples below.
