Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new community-based research that is aimed at engaging, educating, screening and enrolling Blacks/African Americans. Black Americans develop end stage kidney failure at 3-4 times the rate of White Americans. Most Blacks with kidney disease are unaware of their condition because kidney disease is silent until the kidney finally fails and dialysis becomes necessary. There are several reasons for the high incidence of end stage kidney disease (ESKD) in Blacks. One such reason is a common mutation in the APOL1 gene which is present in 13% of Black Americans and in up to 70% of Black Americans with forms of ESKD. The goal of our study is 1) to engage and educate Black communities about kidney disease and the contribution of APOL1 gene change. Through "Community APOL1 Research Engagement (CARE), we will screen 5000 Blacks for signs of kidney disease. Secondly, participants with kidney disease who also provide informed consent will be enrolled in a clinical trial called JUSTICE in which they will be randomized to placebo or trial drug group. The goal of JUSTICE is to investigate whether the trial drug is effective in stopping the progression of kidney disease in study participants. We would like to see designs that incorporates the words "CARE" and "JUSTICE in ways that are aesthetically pleasing. The final design may include the term "APOL1-mediated kidney disease"
