Brief de Design de Logo

Vanilla & Friends is a small New Zealand business that produces extracts for use in baking. These are used to provide flavour to the baking and are produced by soaking fruit or other organic matter in alcohol to extract the flavour. When the baking is cooking the alcohol evaporates, leaving the flavour (please note this is not an alcohol product). Our primary extract is Vanilla, using dried vanilla pods. We wish to expand to other flavours of extract in the future. This is why we have called ourselves Vanilla (as the primary product) & Friends (the other flavours we develop in time).

Our products are aimed at the premium market and specialty bakers. We would like our logo to reflect this. We consider our products to have a richness (in flavour) that our competitors lack. We are seeking a sleek, modern and simple logo that conveys the product’s superior quality. The extract has a strong punch of flavour, many taste-testers have simply said ‘WOW!’ on trying our extracts.

The extracts are sold in small (50 - 100ml) glass bottles (see picture). The logo will be placed on this, note that the bottle is rectangular.

We would like to use the logo for instagram, business cards, our website and for packaging.

We are open to your ideas for colour scheme but please exclude the following colours: pink, purple, blue and red.
