Ouray is miraculous. Being touched by the magic of this beautiful place is my motivation to share the experience.

I was blessed to grow up in a beautiful town and was raised by a loving family during an amazing time of global change. Shared experiences are an exceptional way for us all to learn, grow, and be entertained. I hope you enjoy the stories as much as I enjoyed writing them. After all, the name of Ouray could well be “Magic.”

This book is a collection of memories and shared experiences from growing up with friends and family in a small San Juan Mountain town. These recollections were written from a place in my heart where love lives. I loved growing up in Ouray.

MEMORIES Growing Up In Ouray, Colorado, is my effort to encourage others to reflect and share their experiences of growing up, wherever that may have been.
