Brief de Design de Logo
Friends Seminary is a K-12 Private school in NYC. The assignment is to create a LOGO for this year's fund raising event called FRIENDS BENEFIT 2022. This year's theme is "Better Together".
Background
The Friends Benefit Auction is the largest single annual fundraiser the School holds. Typically held in the late spring, it generates significant funds for the School and provides an evening of community and connection for Friends Seminary parents, faculty and guests. The event was fully virtual in 2021, and we look forward to celebrating being back together in 2022. This year’s Benefit will be in person at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in NYC (a venue that overlooks the Hudson River). There will also be a virtual program aired that evening via Zoom for those who are unable to attend the event or prefer this option.
Assignment
Create a logo that includes the Friends Benefit 2022 theme, “Better Together”. The graphic approach to the logo should reflect the idea that being back together this year makes us a stronger and more joyful community of Friends.
Tone should be optimistic and warm. Color palette should be vibrant, dynamic and sophisticated. Overall message should be one of connection and togetherness. Stay away from Hands (last year they did child finger painting hands for logo). This year they don't want child-like -A little more on the sophisticated side, but still with a hint of warmth and fun.
Consider but do not be limited to:
● we like the logo at this link: https://pambarnhill.com/better-together/ but it is used by another company so we cannot use it. Wee like the circles and how they portray togetherness - also the fonts are sophisticated but still playful. You can use this logo as inspiration.
● Logo should not utilize the Friends red as its primary palette. To see school logo of school go to https://www.friendsseminary.org. Do not include Friends schoolhouse illustration within logo design, nor should the primary colors be that of the school logo or use the school logo at all. This should be it's own special thing.
The words Better Together should be more prominent than the words - Friends Benefit 2022
Usage:
The logo will be used digitally as well as in print.
CMYK break-outs for the logo should be detailed and a grayscale version should also be provided.

Thank you all for your work. I'm sorry the project is taking so long - there was an emergency I had to deal with.
My team has the following feedback: So far none of the designs are ones we can use.
We have updated the brief to remove any designs with lighthouses and instead we want to focus on the Community and Togetherness aspect.
We found this design that we love but it is already used by another education related organization but we want to go in this kind of direction. The circles show togetherness and the font is sophisticated, yet playful. You can see design at this link: https://pambarnhill.com/better-together/
We want the primary message to be BETTER TOGETHER and secondary to that is FRIENDS BENEFIT 2022.
