Brief de Design Graphique

Kingston Beach Golf Club celebrates 100 years of operation in 2022. To mark the occasion, we are looking to ‘renew’ our logo with the intent of using the new design/branding on a range of marketing and merchandise in the future. This is likely to include our website (kbgc.com.au), social media, stationery, flags and signage on course and around the Clubhouse, as well as clothing and other golf-related merchandise.
Constraints
The current logo must be retained; we are hoping to embellish it or incorporate it into a new design identity that successfully communicates a blend of history and progressiveness. There are no mandated Club colours although the logo (actual colour unknown) should remain similar.
About the Club
Our website provides information about the club and the course. Key points that relate to how we would like the market to perceive us and which may be useful to the design:
• picturesque – great vistas, river views, lots of wildlife
• lots of tradition but also progressive
• heritage listed red brick Clubhouse building, built in 1834
• home to the unique inclinator – a small motorised carriage to haul your group and clubs up the hill to the 18th hole.
