Brief de Design de Logo

Hi there,

I need to create a logo for my busy and quickly growing video production company, 590films. We are a small film production company that produces visually arresting, story-based documentaries for non-profit and educational organizations. We need to re-brand, or really, to do some branding, any branding. A new look.

Here's our website, which we're re-doing as well:

The name really doesn't "mean" anything. It was the address of my first apartment in NY, where I lived for 10 years and got my start as a filmmaker. That said, it is the name and the logo MUST say 590films

Not 590films.org, not 950films.

We have no color needs, but as our work is primarily with educational and/or non-profits, it should be a bright, hopeful color. Not green, maybe a bright sky/royal blue.

Shapes could be cool, circles? Use your imagination when you think of a company that does work for global non-profit do-gooder organizations.

• We are a New York City based organization, so I'm more than willing to have some imagery of a city-scape or something in the logo. But it should be clean and minimill. We are based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. There is an iconic water tower here (that is also the logo for Brooklyn Industries, so we might want to stay away.) I'm open to ideas.
