Hi DesignCrowd creatives!

My name is Steve and I am starting a YouTube channel for LEGO set reviews, along with customising these sets, called MOC IT UP. MOC is the LEGO community acronym for My Own Creation.

My videos will be aimed more towards adult fans of LEGO (AFOL), though anyone with an interest in LEGO will be able to enjoy them. My wish is to make my videos in a similar style to Adam Liaw's cooking videos. He is a celebrity chef here in Australia, and has a quiet and thoughtful approach to his cooking videos and food travel shows. https://www.youtube.com/user/adamliaw/videos

I have an "abstract and flat" logo, which is made of just 2 connected LEGO bricks with the text: MOC IT UP beneath it (please see the attached files) and am looking for a 3 - 5 second animated intro to place towards the beginning of each YouTube video; I plan to begin each video with me giving the "hook" of the video, the intro with play, and then the video review begins in earnest. After seeing the initial submissions this morning, I thought I'd update the brief to say that there are just 2 LEGO bricks and not 4. The bottom LEGO brick is a single 3-stud L-shaped brick and the top LEGO brick is a 1-stud square brick. I've added some photos of these 2 bricks to the attached files.

My thoughts for the intro animation (which is meant as a suggestion only and you may have a better idea that totally blows my mind and wins the brief):

1. The two bricks that make up the logo enter the screen, one from the top-centre and the other from the bottom-centre.

2. The brick coming from the top of the screen moves straight-down and the brick coming from the bottom of the screen moves straight-up.

3. The bricks meet and join together in the centre of the screen to form the shape of the logo. When they join, there is a circle shape, or square shape that radiates in-front of the bricks (covering them up) and grows from the centre of the screen outwards to fill the screen, somewhat similar to the circle colour radiating in this video: https://videobolt.net/author/skvifi/mini-drip

4. Then the "abstract and flat" logo appears with the MOC IT UP text beneath it.

I'd like to stress the point again, that though I will be making videos about LEGO, my intended audience are adults and NOT children, and I am wanting the intro to reflect this. It can definitely be playfully creative and fun, but NOT childish.

Subtle and appropriate sound effects would be the icing on the cake of the winning video.
