Hello! My name is Gianna and I'm an enthusiastic and passionate 23 year old musician and music teacher running a private studio in Sydney, Australia. I specialise in teaching classical flute, piano and music theory to people of all levels and ages, but I am particularly passionate about teaching young children (and their families) and helping to introduce how wonderful and beneficial learning music can be to their lives. My teaching philosophy is built around the belief in a good balance of training astute musicians and also students who love and enjoy learning their craft and making it a joyful part of their life.
The studio is completely run by myself - teaching, admin and marketing - and so I would like the logo and branding to reflect my personality and energy (as that is exactly what clients will get when I am teaching them), as well as the fact that it is a smaller, private business rather than a large after-school music centre with multiple teachers. I also want to make sure I strike the perfect balance between the schools/studios that are way too hardcore about grades and levels, and the studios people don't take as seriously or think they won't get good results in their music because it's "just for fun".
The name G Major Studios is reflective of the postivity and growth symbolised by a major key in music, and of course the letter G being my first initial (although it is common practise, I didn't want to use my full name as the business name as I feel it is too formal and old-school for my style). I have attached 3 sketches of a hybrid G/treble clef that I would really like to see incorporated into the logo concept. The general shape - no loop at the top or bottom, straight stem - is how I originally envisioned it, but I am open to ideas of how you would make this work. The key for me would be making sure you can tell that it is meant to be a G but stylised to reflect a treble clef. I do plan to use the abbreviateion GMS at times as well, so that might factor into your designs!
Key words that might help you get my vibe:

I've attached an example of a poster ad I made on Canva that could help you with the feel of my business's personality.

Doit avoir
- Must read "G Major" "Studios", rather than "G" "Major Studios" or "G" "Major" "Studios".
Bien d'avoir
- I'd ideally like to have the G/treble clef hybrid as part of the logo, but I'm VERY open and ouwld love to see different ideas! Also, if you want to incoproate the instruments into the design, it should preferably have both of them (there are a lot of piano schools out there)
