Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking to update my current logo to something a bit more modern, bold and stylish. I run a birdwatching tour company, a regular podcast about birdwatching and am about to expand it to a YouTube channel.

I need the mascot to be recognisable as a Wedge-tailed Eagle (key identifying features are their wedge shaped tail and the 'fingers' on the end of their wings when flying).

Ideally it would not be too complicated so that it can be easily animated. I would prefer simple and stylish over complicated and colourful, but am happy to have my mind changed if the design is brilliant.
