Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking for a logo to brand a transportation brokerage and logistics company we purchased recently. The company is 35 years old and has not grown much over the years. We are looking to take the brokerage to another level through modernization, growth and technology. While the company is technically called "Three-D Brokers, LTD" I could see the potential of using '3D' as the base of the logo with the official name underneath it or associated with it. I am open to either thought process. Be creative as I have no preconceived notions as to how it should look other than it have the feel of a growing and progressive company.

Our target market is manufactures and food shippers looking for creative solutions to get their product moved by truck. Also, we need ot appeal to trucking companies that are looking for freight for their trucks. We are essentially the middle man connecting shippers with truck drivers.

• Our other affiliated companies use gray, black and orange (www.drivemidwest.com and osborntrucking.com). I am not tied to gray, orange and black, you could use some gray, orange and black and add accents, or move completely away from those colors.

• I would like to see 2 options. One where 'Three-D Brokers' is the basis of the logo and one option where we use'3D' as the main part of the logo. However, the official name is 'Three-D Brokers, LTD.'
