Brief de Design de Logo

Design a logo for my YouTube channel that can be used on merchandise such as t-shirts, bumper stickers, and coffee mugs. I do DIY videos on how to repair older 3-series BMWs from the early 2000s. I was born in the 80s but I like to say that I should have been born in the 50s because kids back then used to know how to repair their cars and build radios and today we just throw everything away and buy brand new, so that's the meaning of my moniker.

• It can be an image with text below it, but the text should also work by itself if I want to just use that part on a design where the full logo wouldn't fit. It can also just be text alone, I am open to anything.
  
  I want something that looks professional rather than comical or jokey. Maybe something that evokes BMW without treading on their copyright? I'm not sure if that is doable but it's just an idea for you.
