Brief de Web Design

I'm creating a reddit style site and I will be using your submission to pitch the concept to investors.

I've attached my initial attempt which you are welcome to continue building on, or you can build it again yourself.

- The buttons "What's happening", "Following" and "Events" are important to the current design for functionality, but you can change the "look and feel".
- Mock-up advertising would be helpful for the pitch. Please feel free to imagine how this would be implemented into the website. I currently have space integrated into the feed + right side but you can change this.
- The old logo is currently at the top of the screen. Please feel free to reimagine this, as I am paying for a logo as well.
