UPDATE: (Jun 07): ==========================================

Name "Luxandra" has "and" in the middle. The word "and" is often represented by a single character "&", named ampersand. We want to try using the "&" symbol as a symbol of Luxandra brand. Try a design with a creative use of ampersand symbol "&" and Luxandra spelled out in its entirety.

ONLY HIGHLY ORIGINAL design will be rewarded. Logo designs that would inspire a sense of prestige, confidence, and maturity for the premium and reliable goods offered on our online platform.

We monitor various other design sources such as 99designs, brandcrowd, etc. Also, frequent Internet searches by image are performed to make sure the candidate designs are not based on already existing and publicly available designs. This is to protect our branding and avoid other brands using whole or prominent elements of those same, publicly available designs in the future.

Please do NOT submit duplicates of principally identical designs over different backgrounds. We have internal resources to do that once winner is chosen.

This contest is set to PRIVATE so that not logged-in users and search crawlers couldn't see the entries, but the designers could.

  Logo designs that would inspire a sense of prestige, confidence, and maturity for the premium and reliable goods offered on our online platform.
  
  Must be "shrinkable", i.e. can be reduced into a catchy and easily identifiable favicon amongst other app icons (see PDF). Perhaps, similar to how Google's "G" is stylized and recognizable. Perhaps, abbreviated down to "LX", or "Lxa", or "L+half a maple leaf", or some other combinations designer sees fit.

• • element(s)/symbols of Canada. For example, a Canadian Flag-stylized Maple Leaf or some other highly recognizable worldwide and in China Canadian references
  • the logo CAN be simple and minimalistic
  • legible on a black or on a white background
  • bold colour scheme
  • unique lettering (type font)
  • Easily transferable between mediums, i.e. can be printed, sown into fabric, used as watermark, packaging material, etc.
  o Examples of use:
   repeating logo on gift tissue paper (packaging) - 1-2 inches each in diagonal size
   large (4-6 inch diagonal) single logo watermark on custom printed paper sheets
   sown/printed onto merchandise
