Brief de Design de Logo

My mum lost her hi-res copy of her company logo. She didn't remember who and where she got it from because it was years ago. She asked me to do it, but I suggested a redesign to keep up with the times. We've never had a website before because my mum felt it wasn't important as her clients were all mostly IT- illiterate senior citizens performing the Hajj n Umrah. But as she recently started to focus more on regional and European destinations and the younger clientele, a website would definitely help target her market. So she'd probably launch her website after mine.

My mum's old-fashioned and fussy. Please keep to the colour scheme and the door/gate/arch symbol of the logo. Babus Salam in arabic translated to 'The gate of Peace'. Nothing too drastic also or she'll flipped lol

Hi guys!

Someone had finally managed to stimulate my mum's creative neurons! I tried for years to save her from her old-fashioned concept but most of the time, she just yelled at me to redo everything. You can imagine how much I suffered, doing something I love, but unable to express myself! Nicely done mynardpontillo!

Anyway, she asked me why she received 200 less designs and demanded her contest to be done like mine. She's curious to see what else you guys have to offer, so I've increased the budget and you guys are free to express your art since she's now unsure of what she wants. I'll update again if she wants something specific. Thanks guys

Hi guys, I'm really sorry for the non-feedbacks. I did inform an office sister that day but I don't feel comfortable sharing with you guys what she replied. But I don't want you guys to have the impression we're being disrespectful. So, I'll disclose what she said but pls don't assume that I anyhow share without thinking. Since the content have no company, client or confidential details, I don't see a problem sharing it to preserve your trust and confidence as we'll be doing this on a regular basis. Hopefully.

You have to understand my mum is old fashioned and so are her company logo, posters and everything in the office. Sis Yan had, over the years, gradually gotten used to it until it becomes the only concept she's familiar with. I know for sure I almost saved her a few times because she gushed the same way as in the email when I showed my posters. But after seeing how my mum crumpled on them and screamed at me till our neighbours came running, I think she decided it's safer to take my mum's side.

Anyway, I can't expect you guys to believe me when I say Sis Yan suffered from grey eyes looking at all your nice designs. Thats why I had it translated and uploaded so you guys know I'm not lying. She didn't reply till now maybe she went for treatment or something but my mum said she already decided and will inform me by tonight. Thanks guys.
