Brief de Design de Logo

I am a medical specialist from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia branching out to start working for myself part-time (most of my time is in a public hospital). I specialise in complex rare gut issues, specifically the connection between emotional distress and physical gut diseases (medically termed the brain-gut axis, or NeuroGastroenterology). So, a mix of psychology and gastroenterology. The focus is on the person's holistic needs, and empowerment.
I need a logo to use on my website, stationery, business cards, promotional material.
I am a young, friendly, female doctor with clients of all ages from 16 to 90 years old. I want a modern, stylised, simple logo. I'm thinking a symbol next to the text that symbolises the connection between the mind and body (specifically the digestive system), but not complicated.
Colour theme - colours in the deep sky blue, white, greys.
