Brief de Design de Logo

Our "traditional logo" (cursive format) has been around for 30 years or so. After launching this project on DesignCrowd and seeing the first few submissions, we are now open to a complete redesign. We would like to keep the deep red/burgundy color.

We are inviting our designers to consider using our church name and the theme of "connect" as the inspiration behind the graphic/icon. We look forward to receiving the artistic impression of our designers on the theme of CONNECT. Our contest is ending soon, so we'd love to see some creative ideas.

How might we convey the idea of "connecting" through an image/graphic that would go along with our church name?

Doit avoir

• BEREA on the top line of the logo.
  First Baptist Church on the second line.
  
  We want to emphasize our community name at the top and our identity as "First Baptist Church" on the second line.

• We like something that incorporates an icon that could be above or beside the church name. Using the theme of connect, we want an icon/graphic that conveys the message.
  
  The Color Choices that are preferable are as follows:
  700707 - Deep Red as primary color.

• We are not looking for a simple revision of our current logo. After this project started, we realized our best option was to start with a brand new look. We do want to retain the color palette (deep red, grey, and light khaki).
  
  Our current logo is not conducive to locations like website headers and compact spaces online. It is a very tall logo.
