Brief de Design de Covering de Véhicule
This project is a partial wrap on the aft of a Carver 506 (both the boat name design and the risers on the staircase). The name will be Valhalla. Our last boat (Aqua Vitae) and that design is included in one of the photos to show our last design.
I am from a multi-generational Army family so Valhalla (heaven for warriors) has meaning (and our three dogs are Freyja, Thor, and Loki). The wrap will cover the rectangular area where it currently says "Phia" and is an area that is between 27.5"-33.5" tall x 117" wide and includes two different horizontal contour lines. This project is for both that area where "Valhalla" will go along with scenery or graphics as well as a compatible design for the riser area of the entry stairs (they are hard to keep clean so going to wrap the risers). The design and background for the name will likely dictate the design for the risers.
Here is the rub: Obviously given my heritage I have no issues leaning towards the warrior side on the design and know some really bad ass and meaningful scenes could be created. The gal likes oceans scenes that are peaceful and make you think of sand and surf (not hammers, swords, and American flags, etc). The design will hopefully strike a balance between the symbols of Viking culture/ Valhalla and the peace and serenity of boating/ ocean/ sand/ surf/ sunset, etc. Another option for background could be a faded or tattered waving American Flag with Valhalla and some symbols overlaid as well (again, more my style than hers).
I know we want the lettering bold, possibly with the woven design (similar to the Celtic knots) inside block lettering and utilizing gold, silver, metal leaf, etc. I would like an ornate hammer somewhere. Bright and shiny will win out over darker designs. Luckily since it is a wrap we can go as detailed and colorful as desired.
I'm including a google drive link that has multiple pictures of the back of the boat along with random screenshots of backgrounds and symbols that caught our eye.
