Brief de Web Design
GenGen is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps Chinese adoptees search and reunite with birth families who were separated due the One Child Policy in China. We want to create a website that can link to an information database that allows website users to easily access information around search ads in an organized way; help connect families to professional searchers; provide resources for community support for adoptees and their families as they embark on a personal and emotional journey of finding birth family through support groups on social media and consultation/education on the searching process; and provide the opportunity for the adoptive community to give back through donations and volunteer opportunities. The final design should foster a sense of community and be easy navigable to access the multiple resources we provide to help families search for each other. We would like to see designs with red/black/white color schemes that are gentle, inviting, and family friendly to viewers. We would like to see some design layouts with Chinese themes, if possible.
