Brief de Design de Logo

Company name is Top of the 9th Sports, Inc. We primarily sell baseball equipment and gear but carry other items as well. We need a logo that reads "baseball" but not cliche. It needs to look good as a large logo on the front of t shirts, on promotional items and also on business cards and banners

We'd like something that's modern with a slight retro feel. If there is a baseball player involved they should be a pitcher (left handed ) and not a batter. Does not have to have a ball player. The best thing we can say is not cliche. It needs to speak as a brand.
