Brief de Design de Logo
The logo should be for a caribbean based (Curacao) scuba diving website that presents the best dive spots, travel advice for scuba divers (but the hip, luxury and nature / sustainability loving types).
The name 3 at 5 is a play at the "safety stop" that scuba divers have to make before surfacing ... 3 minutes stop at 5 meters depth. It is part of every scuba divers certification training and has a hand gesture that divers show each other under water to signal its time for the safety stop.
But it does not have to be about this hand gesture. If you come up with a cool way to incoporate the dive mask and regulator plus some palm trees in a way that has a classic, timeless look, great. If you have something completely different in mind - surprise me. :)
The logo should not just be used on a website, but also on physical items like t-shirts (at some point). It should be more like a traveler magazine or coffee table book than a website or app.

Hey guys, thanks a lot for the first batch of submissions! I realized that some aspects of my briefing were not clear and updated it.
Basically, the logo what I want is not "tech" or "app" looking but more "vintage" and timeless. Something you would print on a cool t-shirt, not something that you would use as an app logo :) Hope that helps, but many thanks for your submissions so far.

- it needs to have a timeless and a bit "artisan" feel to it. A lot of the submissions so far are very technical, modern looking. Like app logos etc. But what I have in mind should look good on a timeless t-shirt or a branding burned in a piece of drift wood. Think "heritage" / "travel" / "adventure" / "nature".
