Brief de Design de Logo

Looking for a new logo for a decorative concrete coating company. We do metallic epoxy floors (that look like marble), full flake epoxy floors, woodgrain texture overlays and others. Aside from epoxy (resin based liquid coatings) we also work also with cementitious overlays. We can duplicate stone, brick or most any kind of known rock/cement building materials with these "liquid floors". Acetone concrete staining also. We will target residential but also work into the commercial flooring market. Interior home flooring, garage floor coatings, patio decks and pool decks are where these products are typically installed. In the case of commercial - retail settings, veterinary clinics, restaurants or even resorts or hospitals to give some examples. The "278" in the name is from the main road that goes through our city and also the island (Hilton Head Island, South Carolina). The road is very well known where we live and work. Like a Route 66 for example.. We would like to keep true to the 278 road sign but incorporate the "Liquid Floors" part of the name in a fun and creative way. The original ideas were to make the logo look like a highway road sign (see below). YET - the Liquid Floors text must be strong and clear to read. We will be doing web (site and social) marketing but also we will wrap 2 vehicles and a large box trailer. Below are some mock ups I worked on but just don't like how hard it is to read the Liquid Floors text. The colors in the mock ups are the colors we are somewhat set on, unless we see something different. In the attached you will find my mock ups, also the 278 Road Sign in a vector format. Also some art of guys working we used on another brand we made prior in Minnesota (High Performance Coatings, Inc) through Design Crowd. We thought about making a tag image with those guys in the art clip and having the text tag "engineers of liquid floors". You will see this also below. Again, we do want to stay true to the 278 road sign meaning the 278 road sign (black and white clip art attached) we do not want to redesign that, rather incorporate that into the logo somehow.

• The black and white 278 Road Sign as the clip art attached. The colors we have used in the mock ups we do like and likely will want to use. The green from a road sign and the orange that was used in the mock up. Road sign green as well. Like a construction orange. We will use this logo also in online (social media and so on) so it must be user friendly there also. We do not want to be confused for a painting company - rather a concrete floor coating company. Liquid or poured floors - not painted floors or any kind of painting for that matter.

• Factoring the 278 will be the road sign as attached. The words Liquid Floors possibly being poured or splashed on the road sign would be cool. We do not spray the products so no spraying images. We also do not paint, so no look/feel of painting. We pour, roll or squeegee out the products.
