Brief de Design de Logo

logo for Vegan Ghanaian food brand. Targeting western vegan markets. Traditional West African food but re-styled to be modern and meat free.
The logo should have the Kente (traditional Ghanaian cloth) styled preferably in the first 'V'. The logo should have a smaller size version and icons. The challenge is not getting it to read 'eghana' if the V is too big. I have attached the Kente cloth and basic logo design. I am open to all other suggestions as well.
I would like the logo to be clean and modern.
